vaudeville performer, and radio, television, and film actor. He was one of the biggest stars in classic
American radio and was also a major television personality.
Jack Benny sustained a classic repertoire of running gags, including his continuing age of 39. Hence the nickname
'Jack Benny' for number 39.
Another Bingo call that is slowly dissapearing because the younger generation (me included!)
does not remember Jack Benny.
